I design for People, Products and Processes

I can give you the tools you need to find that ‘Aha!’ moment 🥳
(and a fine array of dad jokes!)
How I work

The Framework

A scalable, integrated way of creating structure around your work and how people and products work with it!

Principle

People buy-in better when they know why. Your Principles are what guide you and your organisation. Get buy-in easily 😎

Vision

Illustrate what your org is, what it can be and how amazing it could be in the future! 🚀

Activity

Time to put the right shaped peg in the right shaped hole. Do it by design...don’t leave it up to chance 😨

The Process

Scope, Develop, Produce, Repeat. A process that fits all working practises...even the really bad ones no-one likes. You know the ones... 👀

Scope

Talk, listen, watch and learn. Build an understanding of the problem and it’s scale before you start! 🎓

Develop

Modularise change. Learn as you develop answers to create something less daunting and more balanced. ⚖️

Produce

Ship when you’re sure. Ship big, ship small, ship little, ship often...just be sure! 🛳️

The Execution

Built around the Framework and following the Process. Always creating, verifying and evaluating, a designer’s work is never done.

Create

Sketch on anything you can sketch on. Find out on Dovetail or Zoom or Loom. Create in Figma or Webflow. ✏️

Verify

Understand facts and the facts that people think are facts but aren’t. Be confident in the information you have. ℹ️

Evaluate

Who loves typing up meeting notes that no-one reads? No-one. FigJam instead anyone? 🤚🏿🖐🏽🖖

And now, the nice stuff... 😻

"Neil is a very unique designer who is highly cross functional with a broad skill set across the many elements of design - he’s shown strength in design strategy, research, conceptual design, prototyping, UI and visual design, user testing and data analytics.

Any startup or a more mature company looking to lead / repurpose to be design-led will really benefit from Neil’s approach and range of skills."
